Brody the Lion is a children’s book series that aims to entertain, educate, and empower children and families while spreading awareness and acceptance of autism and different abilities. Each book in the series portrays how Brody and his Buddies face the challenges of autism and other special needs with the help of his family, friends, and community.  The books are written by a PhD level Clinical Psychologist who has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with special needs for over 30 years.

Brody the Lion: The Shopping Flip is the third book in the Brody the Lion Series.  Brody and his Mom head to the grocery store where Brody faces one unexpected event after another. Despite having practiced and making a plan, things go wrong.

Froggy Food Fight!

Card game is designed for children 3+, uses colour association and quick reflexes that create a fun quick game for 2-4 players.

Froggy Food Fight is all about filling your froggy tummy full of your favourite coloured fly. Choose a favourite frog then slap the corresponding fly colour to catch it. But watch out, if you slap a bee your frog gets stung and looses a fly.

GO Sploosh!

An otter themed card game that uses a similar mechanic as the classic go fish game. I was inspired to create a spelling game to help my daughter spell out words she needed to learn for school and still have fun doing it. All the otters were painted using gouache paint, ink for outlining and details.

Knit Bunny

Finished knit book of Knit Bunny exploring color through food items. I used old knit sweaters for the pages which was sewn together and the bunny was knitted by hand. The lettering and imagery inside the book was embroidered.
